The Pyramid Training Scheme

This Brand New and Innovative driver training programme means that YOU the customer could start your driver training programme almost immediately at a very LOW start-up cost!

The Pyramid way of driving has been tried and tested over a 12 month period and has proved to be a very cost-effective and successful way of learning to drive, you could even say it has revolutionised the process of learning to drive!

The PYRAMID scheme has been devised, developed, tested and copyrighted by Mr. Wayne Rees who himself is a working Grade 5 instructor in Cardiff, South Wales.

By joining Chevron School of Motoring and taking up this amazing offer of learning to drive on the PYRAMID scheme would mean that your 1st 10 hours of full and proper tuition, would only cost you £55:00 which works out at £5:50 per lesson! And if that wasn’t good enough your next 10 hours training would only cost you £155:00. (Still cheaper than most) "So do the maths your first 20 hours of tuition would total" £210:00 (£10:50 per lesson)

WHY WAS THE PYRAMID SCHEME DEVELOPED?

"As a qualified driving instructor with more than 9 years experience in this field, and with the current economic climate the way it is, and not forgetting the fuel prices soaring way out of control!  It’s a wonder how anyone can afford to learn to drive today, never mind keeping the lessons going on a regular weekly basis. Over the past few years I have lost good pupils because they could not afford to keep the lessons going or could not find the extra funds required to book their theory and practical tests.

It has been realised that the first few hours of driving tuition could mean a great deal of looking at pictures whilst parked up at the side of the road, sometimes with no driving at all during that lesson, but still being charged the full normal hourly rate! Sometimes as high as £24:00 per hour for the privilege.

By joining Chevron School of Motoring on the Pyramid scheme that would only be a few pounds to cover the same subjects? As the first lesson would only be £1:00 and a 2 hour lesson to start off would only cost £3:00. Yes the lessons would get more expensive as they progressed through the programme, but any student should be in a position to put a few pounds away for when the lessons do get more expensive, so as to offset the costs! but remembering that our Highest lesson price is £30:00 only a few pounds more than some driving schools who charge their full prices from the beginning and remain at that price throughout. But with our driving school after the 30th hour our prices will start to go back down. for example lesson 40 would be £20:00.

This scheme has been designed with the pupil in mind by encouraging them to spend as much time as possible studying for their theory test and maybe get some driving practice with either family members or friends because the faster they pass the tests, the less money they have spent.

So my aim with the Pyramid scheme is to promote and keep up the desire to learn to drive with professional tuition in the shortest and the most economical timeframe"

HOW DOES THE SCHEME WORK

The client would be required to pay a bond of £118:00 when joining the scheme, this money would be used to pay for the clients Theory test and Practical test also the use of a driving school car for the test. So the client is paying in advance and then wouldn't have to worry about finding that extra cost when the time draws near to the test.

Your driving instructor would be responsible for the booking and the paying of their client’s tests upon mutual agreement, this is once the client has reached an acceptable level of training. Mock tests will be carried out before booking actual tests, this is to prevent false economy and ensuring the client stands the highest chance of passing first time.. This money would be deducted from the initial deposit and entered into the client’s accounts record as payment made.

Once the bond has been paid and all necessary paperwork completed, then the driver training will begin.

The client will not have to find the full £55:00 to cover the first 10 hours, the client can pay as they go! If they wish... so the 1st hourly lesson would be £1:00 the second hour lesson would be £2:00, 3rd hour £3:00 and so on... there is a Maximum amount for a lesson and that is set at £30:00 and that would be for the pupil’s 30th hour lesson! From that time on, the lessons would decrease in price by £1:00 per lesson, so lesson 31 would be £29:00, lesson 32 would be £28:00 and if you were to have 45 hours training, then your 45th hour would only cost you £15:00.

So you can see from the above, the emphasis would be placed on the client passing both the Theory and Practical tests as quickly as possible, because in doing so you can save £££££'s

 F.A.Q's

Q.  How come your lesson prices are so much lower than other schools when the fuel costs are so high and other school prices are charging on average of about £20:00 per lesson?

A.  As a driving school we are in a very stable financial position and have managed to secure sponsorship and support from various local businesses who believe in road safety, in return we advertisie for them, so that offsets the costs of the driving lessons in the early stages!

Q.  What is your success rate on the Pyramid scheme?

A.  This varies, and will be dependant on things such as age of the pupil, whether the pupil can receive private practice sessions,we have had pupils pass their practical test on the 28th hour and other pupils who have passed their test on or about 50 hours. Again it is dependant on how much effort the pupil is prepared to put in to the learning process. But overall we have a very high 1st time pass rate...

Q.  Will I be driving on the roads on my 1st lesson?

 A.  Almost guranteed! if you start off with a 2 hour session then YES you will be driving on the roads! not in a car park somewhere.

Q.  Will i be spending most of my time sitting at the side of the road talking about holidays, eastenders, kids or having smoke breaks?

A.  No we believe in giving value for money! If you decide you would like to take break for whatever reason then we as a professional school will respect your wishes. Although you will be offered breaks during your training sessions you can always decline, or on the other hand if you feel like you would like to take a break then we will accommodate.

Q.  If i have a lesson on the weekend will i be charged more?

A.  NO! we dont believe in hiking our prices up at the weekend unlike some other schools who can charge as much as £25:00 per hour. We understand that their will be clients who can only drive on a Saturday or Sunday so we are there to help.

Q.   I have noticed driving school cars with more than 1 pupil in the car, do you do this?

A.  Definately not! our driving school only ever work on a 1 to 1 basis for data protection, we will never ask you to pick up or drop off another pupil! the only exception to this is if we are being accompanied by a member of the DSA who would be carrying out required checks on the instructor.
